The In Betweens

Oh, there's Angie-pants (on the right)!! Yeah, this is my theater crew.

The In Betweens!! Starts off as a traditional (?) Victorian sort of strange murder mystery spirit channelling play... and turns into a mystical musical singing and dancing melodramatic wonderland of fun! My friend Will played the "villain" and was spectacular.

Angie-pants

Angie-pants says she might change her name to Angie Pants Monette, and if she does she will become my favorite person in the whole world. People will ask, "who's your favorite person?" and I will say, "Angie Pants Monette."

Monterey

I always think Monterey will be nicer than it is... but Monterey isn't really about that. It's about fishing and canneries, and a simple community by the bay.

Tonight we had dinner and Ambrosia, a beautiful little Indian restaurant just outside of downtown. Try their special lamb if you go there, it melts in your mouth. They also have a great vegan menu.

After dinner, we were walking back to the hotel and were asked for change by a man on the sidewalk. We gave him a nice meal of leftovers instead that he seemed to appreciate very much. When someone asks for help and then genuinely appreciates it when you give it to them it makes me happy. I feel like don't see that as much in SF or Oakland.

We stopped by a coffee shop on our way back to the room. We'll relax, drink some coffee, and then head to the spa.

Point Break Live!!

Playing at the Cellspace, Point Break Live is a staged production of Point Break - done just like the film but on a stage, and with an audience member playing the part of Keanu. Most brilliant idea EVER. Our Keanu was especially Keanu-esque and we loved him!!

This is cult theater on crack. Totally worth the bucks - but be weary of the High Action priced tickets. Just pay the regular price and get there early.

Three years

Josh and I started a completely irresponsible summer fling three years ago today... And here we are celebrating three years of way too much fun (and some incredibly annoying moments - but we won't think about those today. ;)).
